MFiX User Manual
****************

MFiX is a multiphase flow solver, providing:
a :ref:`Two-fluid model (TFM)<dvlpt-TFM>`,
a :ref:`Discrete element model (DEM)<dvlpt-DEM>`,
a :ref:`Coarse-grained particle DEM (CGP)<dvlpt-DEM>`,
a :ref:`Superquadric particle DEM (SQP)<dvlpt-SQP>`,
a :ref:`Glued-sphere particle DEM (GSP)<dvlpt-GSP>`, and
a :ref:`Particle-in-cell (PIC) model<dvlpt-PIC>`.  A single-phase
solver is also available for pure granular flows.

These models can be used to simulate a variety of multiphase
flow devices including gasifiers, circulating fluid bed combusters, fluidized
beds, fluid catalytic crackers, and chemical looping combustion systems. Please
