Through practice, I’ve found that the rule of keeping the aspect ratio below 10, as mentioned in the link https://mfix.netl.doe.gov/forum/t/mesh-quality-criterion-and-best-practice-for-generating-mesh/5527/3?u=wuming, seems insufficient for this situation. There’s still a possibility of divergence. I’m still experimenting to find out just how low the aspect ratio needs to be to ensure it works. So far, I haven’t succeeded.
I’m seeking any thoughts or similar experiences from others on this forum. If you have any insights or have conducted relevant research, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them.
