Hello everyone, I just want to plot a graph like this

I’m new to mfix please tell me how to process the output data in order to get a plot like this

I’m sure there’s more than one way to do this, but I’d set up a series of regions (boxes) covering the lateral position bins, and set up a monitor for mean x-velocity in each region.

Another approach would be to define a VTK output file with particle velocity data and use Paraview or some Python scripts to extract the data. There are a few active threads on the forum about using Python to read VTK files, for example
