How to set a DEM wall that also allow gas to flow out

Hi All,

In a CFD-DEM simulation, I want to set confinement above the particles. To this end, ideally, I want to create a DEM wall that can still allow gas to flow out. Do you have any ideas for how to achieve this?

Is that you want to let the gas leave the domain, while prevent the solid particles exit from the PO? If so, you can do it alternatively by adding a keyword: bc_po_apply_to_des(2)= .false. [bc_po_apply_to_des] [bc_po_apply_to_des2]

Hi Gaoxi,

Is there a way to do the same thing in TFM please? I’m trying to confine particles in my fluidized bed (the green area) but allow air to flow from left to right.
