After downloading using the recommended steps for MFiX 21.1.0, the VTK module can not be opened. I’ve noticed others having this issue recently but I’m posting this again with some images for clarity/visibility to hopefully fix this bug/issue to get the program functional.
Here is the in-program error:
In the Anaconda Prompt the error message is: mfix - WARNING - The vtk module is not available, can not create vtk window
For reference these were the download steps used:
There was an oddity downloading the solving environment, it failed with current_repodata.json but succeeded with repodata.json, I do not know if this is relevant. This is the only item which seemed off in the download:
Please let me know if there is a fix for this or if something is incorrect in the installation instructions.
