I’m an R&D Engineer working at Alucha Works B.V. which is situated in The Netherlands. We are a company that recovers valuable minerals from industrial waste streams with the ultimate goal of supporting a circular economy. Part of my job at Alucha is improving and optimizing our process units through multiphase CFD modeling.

Over the years, I have built a solid background in fluid dynamics and numerical simulations. After completing my master’s degree in Chemical Engineering within Hans Kuipers’ Multiscale Modelling of Multiphase Flows group, I pursued a PhD in Johan Padding’s Complex Fluids Processing group. During this time, I gained extensive experience working with a variety of CFD methods.
