Hello, I am now using TFM to calculate a case, entering the liquid from the bottom. I find that the computation speed is getting slower and slower, and I have a guess:
You know that the the liquid phase’s volume fraction cannot be 100%, for example, 10% gas, 90%fluid (I also want to ask, what is the appropriate ratio), after entering the container, the gas will move faster than the liquid, so the porosity will become smaller, the interphase force will become more and more incorrect, and the solver will not be happy. Is my guess right? and how can I fix it? How do cases with Mfix TFM liquid flowing from the bottom into the usually handle this problem?
Thanks for your help!
