About Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio for conduction in linear spring-dashpot approach

Hi

I am learning DEM theory. I find Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio for conduction need to be specified when energy equations are enabled. I hope I could know their effects. What are their difference from Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio? What are the correction terms for DEM conduction as the keyword prompting? What are their effects on normal formulas (no energy equation)?

Thanks.
