Are there any changes for solution algorithm in TFM？

According to the numerical guide “MFIX Documentation Numerical Technique”，the Solution Algorithm is listed as follows

However, the guide has not been upated since 1998, so I wonder if there are any changes for solution algorithm in TFM？
