Boundary condition settings fail to work

For one of my outlet (type: pressure outflow),I want to have a boundary for the solids.
And I want to allow the gas phase to pass through this boundary, just like a solid-gas filter.
As a result ,I set the ‘bc_po_apply_to_des = false’ condition in the advanced option section.
However, the “Totel PIP” will keep decreasing during the simulation process.
MFIX version 23.1.1 and 23.3.2 reflact same results.
"bc_mi_apply_to_des = false " has be tried and cannot work as well.
So, what I can do to solve this problem?

Please try to increase the spring stiffness to see if it works better.

Sorry,I forget to describe one thing that my Model-Solver is PIC ,not DEM. I can’t increase this parameter.

Hi, welcome to the MFiX forum.

When seeking help, please attach your input files. Go to main menu, select “Submit bug report” and this will create a ZIP file you can upload here.

I see. Then add an Internal surface along the BC plane. This should prevent the parcels from leaving the domain.
