Can I use stl file to form nonspherical particles?

I have used the open software Blender to make a packing of nonspherical particles, and I got a stl file which includes the particles and container, could I use this stl file to generate nonspherical particles so that I can use the solver making a simulation.

Are all the particles the same shape? If you export the particle shape as an STL, you can use that as a base shape for constructing a GSP (glued-sphere particle) which is an assemblage of spheres which approximates the given shape. If there are several shapes, you can set up one solids phase for each shape. If all the particles are different shapes, this will be impossible.

The particles have two shape, and I will give a try .Thanks a lot.
