Can the cut-cell of mfix achieve annular flow using PIC method?

Could the cut-cell of mfix achieve annular flow by adopting PIC method? Like this:

It could. You would need two cylinders for the external and internal walls. One thing to remember is that you need to have sufficient computational cells between the two walls to correctly capture gradients. I suggest no fewer than five uncut cells.
