I just noticed you are trying to install version 21.4. The current version of MFiX is 23.4.1. Is there a reason you are trying to install a 2-year old version? (I just tested, and was able to install 21.4, but we do recommend that you use the most recent version)
When MFiX 23.4.1 installation failed, then I started trying the older versions. Till now, I still cannot install it as I keep getting the same error messages, which is kind of weird.
Same mfix download link, scilan linux machine works but windows (admin) doesn’t work.
And it has the same error message as above.
When it tries to download the following, and it failed after the time is out (20.0 s).

What’s the version of Miniforge on both machines?
The one recommended on MFiX website, miniforge 23.3.1-1

If it’s the same version of Miniforge and it works in one place but not the other, then this sounds like some sort of network or firewall issue - I am not in a position to help with this but I’ll try to get someone from the web team to look into it.
