Heat of reaction

Dears,

Should I specify the heat of reaction for each reaction? or is it calculated automatically in the “CALC_RRATES_DES” subroutine?

The heat of reaction can be calculated and assigned each phase automatically based on the heats of formation of the reactant and product species are provided.

If the heats of formation are not available or if you want to explicitly assign the heat to each phase (such as 50-50 in your example), you will need to provide the heat of reaction for that reaction.

Hi,

Can the heat of reaction only be specified as a constant? Is it possible to define this value as a function of temperature? Which source file should be adapted?
