How to fix this error when a restart calculation is required by CFD-DEM

Hi Dear All,
I run the CFD-DEM simulation by the source code MFIX. Then the run stopped because of other unpredicted reasons, like the update of the system. I modified run_type in mfix.dat from “New” to “Restart_1”. I always got the below error. At this instant the particle number in the bed is about149,800. Because there are too many particles in the bed? or the problem of the memory limit? Res file was destroyed? I am using MFIX-18.1.1. Any clue? Thank you so much.

MPI run (4 process) was used.

Can you try a newer version of the code?

er, Maybe I could try the new version. But there is a wired phenomenon: If I kill the processes by “kill -9 Process ID”, MFIX can restart by the RES file. If the simulation is stopped due to other reasons, the “restart_1” keyword in mfix.dat can not work. I do not know why.
