I am very interested in the filter drag model, and I try to repeat the 2D periodic domains simulations. [Sarkar-Redirecting, Igci-https://doi.org/10.1002/aic.11481, Zhu-Redirecting]
Since I am not familiar with MFIX, I used Fluent for my purposes, but I ran into some problems.
After an initial transient period, persistent, time-dependent and spatially inhomogeneous structures develop.But in my simulation, there’s not as much of clusters and streamers as there is in the literature.I want to know whether the simulation time was too short or the parameter setting was wrong, which caused this phenomenon. I hope someone who knew about the filter drag model would give me some advice
