How to modify parameters to get inhomogeneous volume fraction distribution

Dear experts,

I often use MFiX as TFM model, and accustomed to simulate fluidized bed, and get desirable pressure drop.

However, I am in trouble in obtainning inhomogeneous solid volume fraction distribution along height direction, which is observed in experimental setup.
(Usually, my setting,or tutorial, gives roughly uniform distribution)

If you know any important parameters which affect solid volume fraction distribution,
I would appreciate it if you could tell me.
(e.g. drag model, solid viscous stress model, solid frictional stress model, and so on)

Kind regards

Do you know what is causing it in the experiment? I have seen radial differences due to bubbles taking similar paths (wall effects, poor gas distribution, pulsed air flow…). Large particle size distribution? segregation?
