Hi everyone
I am simulating a fluidization bed under vibration, everything is fine, but after adding the gravity vibration to the system and after some hours of simulation, my run was interrupted by this error:
“Velocity exceeds limit
To change the limit, adjust the scale factor MAX_INLET_VEL_FAC.
DT < DT_MIN. Recovery not possible!”
I have tried to change the MAX_INLET_VEL_FAC but it has not worked for my run and I have had same problem
I would be grateful if you could assist me.
In general, this sort of problem is often caused by poor mesh quality.
If you need help please attach your simulation input files. Go to the main MFiX menu and select “Submit bug report”, this will create a ZIP file you can upload.
