Mfix 21.1.4 failed to install on Linux

I downloaded the mfix21.1.4 installation package from the official website and followed the instructions to install it on Linux, but the command line prompted:Defaulting to user installation because normal site-packages is not writeable
Processing ./mfix-21.1.4.tar.gz
Installing build dependencies … error
why?Does anybody know? Please help to solve it, thank you.

It looks like you did the Anaconda install as administrator, with a system-wide install, then tried to install MFiX with normal user privileges.

Can you please post the output of conda list ?

Anaconda was installed by my previous person, I could not find conda list, SO I used pip to install, is there any other solution?

conda list is a command that you run the the Anaconda command prompt. Also can you provide the error message?

Pip installation,MFIX 21.1.4,fistly I do not install Anaconda and do not run the the Anaconda .

Are you behind a firewall? It looks like failed network connection.

How do you get any packages onto a machine with no network connection? I think your best bet will be to install onto a networked host and then copy the installation to the server. You will need to get your local systems people to work this out.
