MFiX 24.4 is now available for download at the MFiX website. This release includes a new mechanism to solve chemical reactions based on CHEMKIN, which removes the need for users to write usr_rates.f files.
There are also several fixes for errors reported by users:
- Segmentation fault in calc_cp_des @MCH
- Simulation terminates without errors or warnings @ymy2312003
- Restart (Resume previous MFIX run) Issue with DMP Solver on Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS @Guoqinglian
- Float invalid operation in wrap pow - negative mass fraction @wangjinjing
All users are encouraged to upgrade to this latest version.
Thanks to all users who submitted valuable bug reports and user feedback, which helps us continually improve MFiX.
Also note that most of the MFiX staff will be on vacation for the next two weeks (Dec 23-Jan 3) so replies on the forum will be delayed.
