I want to set the inlet BC of a 3D column like the belows. MFIX-TFM was used and a 3D cylinder was set by one quadric surface (i.e., Y_CYL_INT). Different B.C.S for different regions. How could MFIX do this? Or MFIX-TFM can not do this now? Thank you.

Pay more attention to the shapes of these two regions, please.
“MI” BCs were set for both regions.
Based on my understanding, two options:
A. You can first set BC(1) for the whole cross section (region 1+ region 2), then, you set BC(2) for region
2.
B. You can also split region 1 into several sub-regions and define the same boundary for each of the sub-region.
Thank you, Gaoxi. I tried these two methods. The first did not work for both MI BC for regions 1 and 2. But I heard that it works if wall BC for region1 and MI BC for region 2. The second works in the case of both MI BC setting for the two regions. Thank you.
