MFiX DEM Particle Size Lower limit when using energy equations

Hi everyone,

I am using a DEM model to solve a simple cuboidal domain of particle flow, but the particles I simulate are rather small (150 microns). When I turn on the energy equations, the solution diverges but it runs fine without the energy equations. Is there a lower limit for particle size at which I can solve the energy equation for DEM model? Or is there a way to tweak around this?
