I keep getting this error with this geometry and i tried pretty much everything and i cannot make it work.
I always get the error:
IEEE_INVALID_FLAG IEEE_UNDERFLOW_FLAG IEEE_DENORMAL
ERROR STOP 1
ERROR time_step.f:193
DT < DT_MIN. Recovery not possible!
I tried different meshes and different boundary conditions but no solution. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the answer. And yes it is inside except for the 2 ends which is how mfix recommends to set the inlet and outlet.
I tried to change the initial condition and boundary to several different values, but keep getting an error. I am afraid there might be a fundamental error with it.
Tried you case again, it ran.
The only thing is the small glitch as can be seen in the attached VTU file,
The snapshot shows the pressure field at t=0.3 seconds.
I adjusted it and even started the simulation lower down so it doesn’t interfere with that point.
But after about 1.2 seconds, no matter what i do i get negative gas density and it crashes.
Any particular thing you did to it?
