For a fine metal solid (~80micron) I happen to get quite unstable pressure readings in the bed at almost any inlet velocity. This is using the Gao drag model. Are there any obvious parameters that should be adjusted to avoid this? I tried to follow much of what’s used in the NETL report on Geldart group A particles: https://www.osti.gov/servlets/purl/1633301.
I have been running the same in TFM, and that is very stable. This is also what I expect here on low flows.
