References to Divided Particle Volume Method(DPVM) in MFIX-DEM

Hi, Developers

The reference to Divided Particle Volume Method(DPVM) in MFIX-DEM is not found in the MFIX-DEM reference Documentation of open-source MFIX–DEM software for gas-solids flows. And as i searched the keywords Divided Particle Volume Method in web of science, there is nothing found. So, can you please tell me where can i find some relevant information about this method?
