Dear MFIX-Users,
I am trying to simulate a flow in a reactor with particles (MFIX-CGP), which should include a porous medium close to the outlet for preventing the solid particles to exit the reactor. For this reason I have read in some topics in the forum that it can be done using an internal surface as semi permeable surface. The problem is that when I import the STL that should be the semi-permeable surface (cylinder in the attached figure) as region, the program only allows me to use it as STL movable but not as semi-permeable. Do you know if there is any extra requirement to activate this condition? Does it work for STL files at all?
