Hello,
I plan to use MFiX-DEM for simulating dry powder inhalers as explained in the attached papers. One of the papers used a rotating DPI. Kindly let me know if there is any tutorial that can provide guidance on how to set up similar problem it will be helpful. I look forward to hearing from you.

Dr. Fullmer
Thank you.
I am uploading some file including the .stl file.
It will be a MFiX-DEM simulation with both flow and velocity.
Any suggestion on what tutorial I should follow will be helpful.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Sincerely,

Hello,
I am trying to set up the problem. Is there any information available on how to simulate the rotating motion ?
This geometry has two inlets and one outlet with particle injection region.
Any help on how to impart the rotation will be very helpful.

Thanks and Regards,
Debashis

Please see the mixer tutorial which has rotating blades

Dr. Waldman,
Thank you.
I started to go over the tutorial case on 3D Mixer. However, I got error message when I tried to generate mesh. I still ran it. Attached are some movie files. I am attached the .mfx file as well. In my case, however, the whole STL file (inhaler) is rotating. Do I need to change in usr1_des.f the direction of rotation etc. to start this ? Please suggest. Also, as I tried to change the particle diameter to 1 mm the particles seem to fly away.

On another note, we plan to use around 1 million particles. Is MFiX-DEM appropriate for that or I have to use GPU or MFiX-EXA ?
Please let me know.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Sincerely,
Debashis

How can I access these files (*.f) through the GUI ?

Hello,
Any suggestion on setting up the rotation ?
I am setting up the model and testing but any suggestion to simulating this will be very helpful.
Thanks and Best regards,
