I am PhD student of Mechanical Engineering department at univeristy of Saskatchewan, Canada. I have a course on parallel programming for scientific computing. The professor asked me to present about MFiX parallelization schemes of TFM model, e.g., How it uses OpenMp and MPI, How the code is written, The flowchart of what it is done in routines related to parallelization and anything related.
I am a new user of MFiX and I really get lost in subroutines… too complicated for me now…
I have searched a lot but I have not found enough documentations or articles on MFiX TFM. Only one by Pannala et al. There were 2 or 3 articles on DEM by Golparakishnan et al. and Liu et al…
As a developer of this software, Do you have any documents or guidance which can help me to organize a presentation about TFM parallelization implementation for graduate students at engineering department?
