I hope this message finds you well. I have encountered a strange issue while using MFIX. I used one of the cases provided in the compressed package and ran the simulation with the default DMP solver. However, the case always diverges when the particle diameter is set to 150 µm, and I cannot figure out why.
Under the same conditions, I only changed the particle diameter to 300 µm and adjusted the mesh size and geometry to 900 µm accordingly. In this case, the simulation runs normally.
I don’t understand the reason behind this behavior and would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you very much.
