Hello, I would like to ask whether the Monte Carlo method can be used to simulate the external illumination radiation in mfix?
I want to simulate the radiation of sunlight on solid particles and have chemical reactions, but I don’t know what to do or whether it is feasible.
So ray tracing for radiative heat transfer?
At the moment MFIX does not have a radiation model. There is on-going work to add a P1 model though.
