Validation or banchmark cases for (bubbling) fluidized bed, Geldart A

Hi all,
I looked through the V&V manual, but could only find PIC and DEM validations, are there none of TFM?
I am now specifically interesting in Geldart group A particles. I found a NETL presentation from 2024 by Yupeng Xu where PIC had been used on FCC, and one TFM from 2016 by Lu claiming that bed expansion for Geldart group A were quite off (Investigation of drag models for the two fluid simulation of Geldart group A powders - ScienceDirect). Are there other studies worth looking into, or has there been any progress on the models themselves since 2016? Is PIC favoured over TFM for such Geldart A fluidized beds?

Thanks.

To answer my own question, in part, I have found this study from 2020, performed by NETL themselves, which address such Group A particles in TFM and PIC. https://www.osti.gov/biblio/1633301

It would of course be good with even further studies, although this report does acknowledge that there is indeed a shortage of such.
