Hey all,
Are there any resources on the van der Waals cohesion model in MFIX? It seems to be somewhere between a Rumpf model with hemispherical asperities and JKR based on the use of surface energy. I’ve tried rewriting it several ways and can never get it to 100% match the Rumpf models I’ve seen in literature. The current DEM documentation doesn’t seem to talk about the cohesion model.
