I want to use dem model to make a fixed bed model for biomass pyrolysis (the particles are static). I added usr1 and des rate files. But the top right corner has a few grain temperature has been rising so fast. My initial condition is 423 k, the boundary condition is 1073 k, but when time run to the 7 s, these particles
temperature have more than 1073 k, after 7.1 s, these particles temperature up to 1630 k, also led to the surrounding gas temperature increases, and then stop running. I wonder why this happens. Where do these particles get the heat that causes their temperature to rise?
