hello everyone:
i have a question about the unit of reaction rate in the mfix-dem.
i know the unit is kmol/s in the mfix-dem, but we usually use the kmol/(s kg) or kmol/(s m3) in the gas-solid reaction. (that is to say: N kmol material can be converted per kilogram of catalyst per second)
so i wonder the exatly meaning of the kmol/s in the mfix. Does it mean the kmol/(s particle)?(that is to say: N kmol material is converted per second on one single particle)
Yes it is kmol/s for a given particle
