An unknown pause in the execution process

Hello, I am a Korean university student who is using mfix well.

During the 2D-DEM pyrolysis build process, initial condition 1 was successfully seeding as shown in the photo, but initial condition 2 was not generated and stopped.

What’s wrong with the initial condition 2 that doesn’t seem to work?

Dear Jeff,
I got similar problem running my case (attached Test.mfix). It runs some iterations and almost at time= 0.15 stops. I have tried changing the dt, numerical solvers, etc, but it does not help. Could you please have a look?

how about sharing all the files together in a *zip?

On the main MFIX menu (click “hamburger” menu icon)

there is an item “Submit bug report”

This creates a ZIP file with all relevant input files. This is the preferred way to attach project files when looking for help here.

Thanks for your message and advice. I am trying since yesterday to generate the Bug Report but it remains creating the file for hours! Instead, I zipped my directory directly. I hope it works.
