Could not union geometry correctly

i am trying to set the geometry using the geometry tab my geometry is like this, basically it’s just a combination of two cylinders:

but when i tried to union them, the geometry became like this

I have tried multiple times but still cannot resolve this

Please make sure the cylinders are closed (add caps at both ends).

HI, thanks for your reply, i just checked and from what i have seen the cylinders are both closed but i still could not get right geometry, i have attached the zip file, could you please have a look?

I am not sure what is going on. I tried to sample the implicits but it didn’t help. My recommendation is to use the procedural cylinders instead.
