How to model flat bottomed silo for pure DEM analysis?
Can you please elaborate? I am not sure how to provide assistance here.
A hopper? With a single drain in the center? With or without the fluid (gas)?
Yes opening at center. Actually it’s a silo (a hopper with cone angle zero degree). I am considering it as a dry media (air).
For a quick start (in 2D), load the DEM fluidized bed setup, disable the fluid solver, and change the bottom inlet into an outlet.
