I want to build such a geometry, but it disappears immediately after performing the union operation. I would like to ask what causes this problem. Besides, how can I export the data of my created geometry to check its exact dimensions and verify whether the setup is correct?

The file you attached does not match the image (domain extents and mesh resolution is different).
Regarding the union, you should add bottom and top caps to the cylinders so they are closed volumes. Then they should overlap with the box (adjust the cylinder translation in the x direction and increase the cylinders’ heights).
Regarding the inlet BC, say your domain extents go from x=0m to x=0.14m, the cylinders should stick out a bit, so one cylinder should go below x=0m and the other one should go past x=0.14m. Then you will define a rectangular BC at x=0 and another one at x=0.14, with a y and z extents that are slightly larger than the cylinder diameter. This will give you a clean intersection.
I would like to obtain this setup. Is this achievable in MFIX?

I don’t think this is doable as it, you would need some kind of wall attached to the cylinder.
Thanks for your reply. I’ll look into it further or use FreeOK.
