Including van der Waals forces

Hello,
I’m a newbie to MFiX here.
I read thru the documentation, so I just want to verify I understand this correctly, the only run that can include van der Waals forces in the simulation is DEM?

Yes, this is correct.

Note that in the MFiX GUI, the Van der Waals control is located in the “DEM” panel. The GUI attempts to separate out controls by model, so only the applicable options are shown for each run type.
