MFiX 26.1.1 is available for download on the MFiX website.
This is a bug-fix release which fixes a few issues with the 26.1 version and adds a few new features:

  • Fix orientation bug within GSP implicit model, add particle rank output for GSP implicit model
  • Add turbulent length scale to restart file (#1959)
  • Set reactant_sufficient to .FALSE. if the reaction is disabled (nSpecies=0).
  • Add bc_scalar as a keyword controlled by keyframe data
  • Add keyword “FLEXIBLE_GSP_BOND_BREAK”
  • Add keywords “SHEAR_STRENGTH_BOND” and “TENSILE_STRENGTH_BOND” to GUI via “Advanced” pane
  • Fix local help URL on Windows
  • Pin sysroot 2.28 (OS compatibility)
  • Get “simpleeval” from Conda instead of bundling an old version
  • Updated compilers (GNU 15.2.0) for the Windows platform
  • Other minor GUI updates

Registering is not sufficient to get access to the download page. You must wait for the registration to be approved. If the information you submitted is not valid, you will get an email saying the registration was rejected. It can take a few business days for a registration to be reviewed. Once a registration is approved, users will receive a confirmation email and can access the download pages.
