Hello,
I am trying to simulate this 3-D DEM hopper case based on the tutorial. I did change the gravity and particle properties. I am trying to run it for 5 seconds but it is stopping at 3.44 seconds. I am attaching the model files, Kindley let me know what is the problem here such that the simulation is not going to 5 seconds. I have attached a particle movie and I did not see any unusual particle motion. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and Regards,

Do you see something like this in the console?
=============== Requested time limit reached =
Batch wall time: 2.50 h
Elapsed wall time: 2.45 h
Term buffer: 3.00 m
Simulation start time = 0.0000s
Simulation time reached = 4.888s
Elapsed real time = 2.450h
Time spent in I/O = 33.33s
There is an option to terminate the run gracefully after a specified time (here 2.5 hours) so the simulation is not terminated abruptly when it is run on an HPC with queue time limit. Since the simulation takes more than 2.5 hours, you can either disable the option (uncheck “Enable max wall time”) or increase the wall time limit. Below are your current settings that you need to change:
Hello Dietiker,
Thank you.
I did exactly as you suggested (as seen in the attached screenshot).
I resumed the simulation.
I will keep you posted on how it goes.
Thanks and Regards,
