A few issues:

  1. There is an issue when the default BCs are turned off, we are looking into it, but you can keep it on for now.
  2. It is better to have the cylinder extend past the MFiX box.
  3. The initial solids fraction is too large so I lowered it.

I made the changes in the attached.

Thank you for your reply. I have reviewed the example calculation carefully again. Is there a problem with the software permissions? This image shows that none of the mesh nodes can access the initial conditions or boundary conditions. Is it because the mesh file was not saved, which then caused it to be unreadable?

Running another test case will also result in the same error.

Default BC should be turned on in the file I sent. Do you see the check box checked?:
