Particle behavior in a Inhaler

Hello,

I am simulating the Ellipta Inhaler as in the attached paper. Simulation has been going well. DEM. However, it seems like the particles are not moving much after 0.02 seconds as you can see in the plot. I am using all the friction values and Hamaker constant as given in the paper. I am attaching the Zipped file (with everything) and some movie files on velocity and particles.

Any suggestion on whether to change the DEM inputs to make the particles move more will be very helpful.

What happens when you turn cohesion off?

Thank you. I have not tried it. It means I have to turn off Van Der Walls Since the paper mentioned the Hamaker constant, I am using it. Should I turn off the Cohesion and see ?

Yes, turn off cohesion and see if it makes a difference.

Thank you. Yes, I tried that and it worked. Now I am doing some tests by varying the Hamaker constant values. I will keep you posted.
