Planar point source flow rate – entire defined plane vs. fluid‑intersecting region?

Hi everyone,

I have set up a planar point source, which is the yellow area shown in the figure. I assigned an air flow rate to this plane. Is this flow rate applied to the entire yellow area, or only to the circular region where the yellow area intersects the fluid domain?

It will only be applied to the region that intersects the fluid cells.
