Hello researcher, I have a question. In the solid phase, when there is only one component, what is the relationship between these two densities? Can I understand that both represent the density of individual particles?
Best wishes!
Here you use constant density, so 500 kg/m^3 is the particle density and it will remain constant during calculation.
The blank density in the species table is the density of a given species (Al2O3 here). It is not used when you set a constant density model. It would be used if you had selected variable solids density and could not be left blank. You would also need to define more than one species, make sure all species densities are defined and you have an inert species, and baseline composition so their is a reference density.
Okay, thank you for your reply.
