Rolling friction in DEM

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the rolling friction in DEM. The force is involved in the code file calc_force_dem but I am not sure whether this force is evaluated in the linear spring-dashpot or Hertz collision models? It seems that the rolling friction coefficent MEW_R is not specified on the solid pane in MFIX and the expression for OMEGA_NEW is not mentioned in calc_force_dem.

It applies to both LSD and Hertz collision models. Please note the rolling friction is currently a beta feature and will be formally released in 22.1 release, which is why MEW_R and MEW_RW are not yet visible in the solids pane. They can be set from the Advanced pane though.
