Segmentation fault (invalid memory reference) - pure granular simulation

Hello all, please see attached my mfix DAT file for the DEM simulation with the above mentioned error. Please also the “out-mfix” file for backtrace of this error. My simulation domain is a simple rectangular domain 100mm x 2mm x 1mm. The inlet is 2 sq. mm and 20% particle volume fraction at inlet, with 5 mm/s velocity.
The total number of particles coming in per second through the inlet is 3819. The simulation failed at 1.5142 s – I think it crashed because the total number of particles at that instant was more than what the domain could accommodate. Do I just increase the domain size to circumvent this? Or can a flag be inserted in MFiX source code to check for overflow of particles? Thanks
