Hi, I’m simulating the flow region where cold particles are heated by a hot fluid. However, I’ve noticed that when the inlet velocity is low, the temperature distributions are very similar—regardless of whether the flow is from top to bottom or bottom to top. This makes it difficult to distinguish the flow direction. Is this behavior realistic? Could this be due to thermal diffusion?
Additionally, when I increase the inlet velocity (from bottom to top) by a factor of 10, the flow region changes significantly and looks more realistic.
Thank you in advance!
