I want to set a CFD-DEM case with a special gas inlet. For example, in a circular gas inlet region, the bule part has one velocity but the orange part has another velocity. I am wondering whether MFIX is capable to this.

This is most likely not possible, unless the green circle is a wall and you can refine the mesh to have a few cells across it. However, you can approximate the orange region with a series of rectangular BC regions that will have a stair-case representation of the curved region.
