What is the difference between VREL_T(3) and TANGENT(3) in the calc_force_dem_mod module

Hi,

My question is about two local variables in the calc_force_dem_mod module. It seems that both VREL_T(3) and TANGENT(3) refer to the tangent to the plane of two particles in contact. So, what is the difference between them?

VREL_T is the tangential velocity vector. TANGENT is a unit vector in the tangential direction.
